A few years ago I discovered how to make a simple facial mask that left my face feeling incredibly soft, smooth and looking absolutely radiant. This mask contained kelp, honey and aloe vera.
Seaweeds have been traditionally used to detoxify the body both internally and externally. They are rich in nutrients which help to both tone and nourish the skin. For example, kelp is known to help regulate the PH balance of the skin.
Furthermore, seaweed is known to increase circulation, helping to eliminate toxins and increase blood flow to the skin.
Kelp is another excellent ingredient to look for in a good facial mask. It is rich in nutrients, protein and oil, making it an excellent habit to keep within the body.
It helps to both soothe and heal the skin, comes in various forms, and is available in many variations.
However, perhaps one of the most important reasons to use seaweed extract as part of your daily skin care regime is to help the body naturally absorb the vast array of active ingredients present in the seaweed.
Most modern skincare products contain plenty of synthetic vitamins, oils and preservatives. These are present for the sake of keeping the product commercially viable and marketable. However, there is no doubt that they often pose a serious risk to the skin.
Natural ingredients present in a natural skin care regime need to be actively avoided. On the other hand, seaweed works extremely well as a natural delivery system for nutrients, delivering high amounts of vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
There is recent research to suggest that seaweed extract is very effective in the treatment of eczema. Eczema can be extremely itchy, dry, itchy and irritated. It is accompanied by itchiness, redness and Razzy sensation.
Seaweed is especially rich in effective natural active vitamins. It also contains effective mineral salts. Together, these ingredients work extremely well with the very delicate skin around the eyes.
In this research, a delivery system was developed, which works in a natural way to transport high amounts of vitamins and minerals to the skin deep within the layers of the skin. The delivery system of seaweed wrap is especially potent and long lasting.
The seaweed wrap works by increasing the lymphatic circulation and increasing blood circulation as well. This mechanism of working effectively controls the immense itching and inflammation problems, flooding the area. Instead of fighting the problem, the seaweed wrap work to solve and control the situation before it even becomes a problem.
An excellent way to understand how this all works is to watch the extremely powerful Japanese nettleherb (Ligustrum oval). The only thing better than seeing the plant in natural growing conditions is to see it grown in a laboratory. It is nearly impossible to find this plant in a store.
When you purchase the seaweed wrap at a beauty supply store, you are often told that the wrap contains kelp, but this is not true.Kelp is an extract from the rounded stems and leaves of the Japanese sea kelp. Although, the term is sometimes used as a name for the product, it should be more commonly known as Epsom Saltrate.
